Local band “Jonesy Martin & Stan” will be hosting a flood benefit concert at Pacific Tri-County Senior Center.
The concert will be on June 9 and doors open at 7 p.m. with music will start at 8 p.m. There will be a $10 cover charge and outside drinks and snacks are welcomed.
Gary Jones, singer and guitar player for the band, said the band was looking for a way to help out.
“We wanted to help in some way and our music is one way we could raise some money,” Jones said.
All the money raised will go to Pacific Tri-County Senior Center to help with the relief they have already been doing.
Along with Jones, the band is made up with Martin Chase, who plays dobro guitar, and Stan Pursley, who plays percussion.
The band plays “a collection of eclectic songs,” in their own style, Jones said.
“Our group would like to invite people out for an evening of music to benefit the people affected by the floods,” Jones said.
