Giving prospective students and their families the option to skip long lines, pre-scheduled advisor appointments and multiple trips to campus to complete registration, Jefferson College is continuing “Walk-In Wednesdays” on the Hillsboro campus through Aug. 23 with many services available in a one-stop setting.
Walk-In Wednesday hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Hillsboro campus only. Prospective students should bring photo identification. No appointment is necessary.
Anyone interested in attending Jefferson College can complete a variety of registration-related steps in one visit:
● Apply to the College
● Apply for financial aid
● Take the placement test
● Meet with an academic advisor
● Receive a degree audit
● Register for classes (students must have test scores on file that are within the past two years)
● Get a student photo ID (free for first time students)
● Purchase a parking pass ($10)
● Purchase text books
Fall classes begin Aug. 21.
To give students as much flexibility in scheduling as possible, the College offers many class formats such as day, evening, hybrid (on site/online), One Night Plus and 8-week formats.
